Who we are

What we collect
Only what we need to book you in, deliver service, and follow up.
- Name, phone, email when you book or contact us.
- Service history what colour or treatment you had, formula notes, allergies you tell us about.
- Payment handled directly by Square. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Site analytics anonymised page views, device type, referrer, time on page. No facial data, no precise location. IP addresses truncated before storage.
- Advertising measurement when you complete a booking, we may create a one-way hash of the email address or phone number linked to that booking and use the booking reference and any genuine Google click identifier available to measure whether advertising contributed to the booking. We do not put raw contact details in attribution logs or reports.
How we use it
- Confirm and remind you of your appointment.
- Match your hair history at your next visit, so you don't repeat yourself.
- Send aftercare or care-product notes if you opt in.
- Improve the website by understanding which pages help and which don't.
- Measure whether advertising contributed to completed Square bookings, so we can judge real booking outcomes instead of guessed clicks.
Who else sees it
- Square booking and payment processor. Subject to Square's own privacy terms.
- Google Analytics website usage and performance measurement, including device, browser, page, and cookie or similar identifiers. We do not send booking details, client notes, or payment data.
- Google Ads conversion measurement may include genuine Google click identifiers, booking references, and one-way hashed email or phone. Google may compare those identifiers with signed-in Google account data to attribute completed bookings to prior ad interactions. We do not send service details, client notes, or payment information.
- Microsoft Clarity website interaction analytics such as clicks, scrolling, and session replay. We do not intentionally send booking details, client notes, or payment data.
- Cloudflare hosts the attribution bridge and temporary hashed attribution records.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.
How long we keep it
Client records: seven years from your last visit, so we can pick up where we left off.
Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe.
Hashed ad attribution records: up to 30 days.
Site analytics: 14 months, then automatic deletion.
Your rights
- See what we hold on you.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, unless we're legally required to keep it.
- Opt out of marketing email at any time. One click in any email.
- Ask us not to use your contact identifiers for future advertising measurement by contacting us using the details above.
- Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you feel we've mishandled your data.
Cookies
Our website is intended for Australian clients. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity cookies or similar technologies for site analytics, advertising measurement, and website improvement. For Australian visitors, these technologies operate under a privacy-notice and opt-out model rather than a pop-up consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and contact us to opt out of contact-identifier matching for future advertising measurement. We do not treat this notice or continued browsing as consent where consent is legally required.
Security
All site traffic is HTTPS encrypted. Booking and payment data handled by Square inside their PCI-DSS environment. Client notes stored inside our Square account, two-factor authenticated. Paper records kept in a locked area on premises.
Children
We provide salon services to clients under 18 only with parent or guardian consent in person. We do not knowingly collect data online from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we update this policy, the date at the top changes. Material changes get notified by email if we have your email on file.
